"No news is good news"...
A 67-year-old male patient comes to your office with lower back pain. After careful consideration, you suspect metastatic prostate cancer. You order the tests, and have the results.

A.) Tell him the truth, discuss options, warn of treatment limitations and side effects, discuss costs, etc.

B.) Tell him he was going to die someday anway, and to get over it.

C.) Tell him he has only 5 months to live, so go enjoy life.

D.) Tell him nothing because it might get better, and the patient does not need to be involved in things that affect his life.

The correct answer according to the UAG admin is D - no news is good news.
