I would first attempt to get into a Canadian University - study hard and do well, then attempt to get into a Canadian or US medical school.
If you failed in that and have a very good GPA due to the hard work and study you did in undergrad - then go to SGU, Saba, AUC, Ross, AUA, MUA-N or St Matt's. If you could not get into these schools then consider the lessor island medical schools. Doing a pre-med at an island school is a waste of time and money for the most part. Generally, students who skip important steps in school in the field of medicine have it come back and bite them big time. As of yet ASUM, has no grads. From what we know of people who have done the pre-med thing - it is totally worthless at ASUM.
Saba, SGU have students get Canadian residencies! Do your research! Don't take short cuts. If you do you will find that many island school pre-med types don't pass the Step 1 - because they skipped important classes you get as an undergrad in US and Canadian Universities. THINK!
