Exclamation O.k

Folks, there is a tendency to confuse what NY approval means. It basically means that one can do rotations in NY hospitals, and does not have to fill out one extra form when it comes to licensing (see approved schools in coolaid's link above). If you go to school w/o NY approval you cannot do more than 12 weeks of rotations in NYS hospitals. You could still do residency and get permanent license in NY, provided all of your other reqs are in order. Gee, my guess is PDs will be salivating to get you on board if you have good stats and speak Spanish, esp in NY.
