zooss im afraid you're wrong and your sweeping statement undermines the credibility of your point (which Ill get to in a moment). And please do not accuse anyone who disagrees with you of ulterior motives. Most people here have a far more lengthy history than you and their views can be taken in the context of the reputation they've established.

However having said that, I agree no one in their right mind should consider going offshore for premed from the US. Go get a college degree and try for a us school. Uunfortunately Zooss' way of making the point undermines an otherwise valid arguement. The truth is if you do this you are cutting off many avenues of opportunity that would otherwise be open to you if you want to a US allopathic medical school
