Thank you for your interest in the International Medical Education Directory (IMED). Before a medical school is listed in IMED, the Ministry of Health, Ministry of Education or other authorized agency in the country where the school is located must write to FAIMER to request the school be listed, and to provide the following information:

• That the medical school is recognized by the government of the country for award of the medical degree

• The date on which recognition was granted

• If applicable, the university with which the medical college is affiliated.

• Whether graduates of the medical school are eligible for medical licensure in that country, and the date on which graduates of the school became, or will become eligible for medical licensure

• Whether the school has a physical campus in that country and the location (address) of the campus?

• Whether instruction has begun at the school and on what date. If instruction has not yet begun, when are classes expected to begin?

• Whether the school has a campus in any other location? If so, please specify location.

You have asked specifically about Trinity University. I’ve been in touch with officials of Trinity University to explain what documentation we need; however, the school will not begin instruction until the fall and it can’t be listed in IMED until the government of St. Vincent confirms that instruction has begun.
