The anatomy lab has models you can look at during class if you have extra time when not working on the bodies. Make sure you bring gloves!!!! The school doesn't supply them so you need your own. A lab coat is needed too so pick one of those up. The formaldehyde smell can get pretty strong so you can bring some surgical masks too to help combat that a little. They have some instruments to use but they prefer you have your own dissection kit to use. Bring a clipboard for test days in the lab. There isn't anything to write on so you end up using the wall most of the time. A couple people in my class started using peppermint oil or menthol rub under their nose because the formaldehyde smell was pretty bad our semester, would get to the point that your throat was sore and your eyes would sting from it. Might have gotten better for this years MD1's but didn't ask. We had 3 cadavers for around 48 people so our class was a little tight in the lab and had 3 groups of 16 give or take.
