This is a good point to look at. According to the NYMC, the opportunity to do the internado year will remain available there in New York. But, the option of staying in Mexico without ever moving for the six years straight wouldn't be possible. It would force a there-and-back situation. The moving expenses each way aren't cheap.

The concern is whether UAG will offer these green book rotations in US hospitals to all of its international students or only to an elite few? All of this weighs into the process of being ECFMG certified.
