Cost of living is about the same as in the states. Apartments run anywhere from $400 US to $1000 depending on how high quality you want. Internet and cable combined are $100. Electric and water can be pretty pricey but it depends on the area of the island you live in. Try to get an apartment with the utilities included (makes it a lot cheaper in the long run). Meals run anywhere from a couple dollars to $15-20 for a sit down meal. Groceries are about the same as in the US. Some items are cheaper, some higher but it really isn't to much of a drastic change either way if you have been living on your own paying your own bills before you get here.
