When comparing schools....it's best to compare "apples to apples." All NY approved schools.....AUA/MUA and St.Matts. Now the latter two are owned by the same corp. Windsor is in the 3rd tier of schools...40% of our students are transfers from AUA,MUA,St.E, Ross...ect.. The rest are mostly from Canada or Midwest states such as IL, MI ect....

Not having loans limits the amount of students we get each year. But, not coming out of school with over 100K in loans also helps greatly. We do rotations in the same hospitals as other schools and have a good list of rotation sites so far.We have Profs that are as good as profs from other schools....A majority are indian (But not all) but the same can be said of other schools now days.

Keeping tution at 5K for Basic sciences and clinical s limits the marketing machine (Web site, school officials posting on VMD ect..) that Windsor has compared to other schools. But remember that Windsor has licensed Grads and most of the newer schools do not.

I think AUA is a fine school if you want to do clinical s in NY...but so is MUA.

If you have any questions, and want feed back from current Windsor students please post in the Windsor forum.
