nope foundations of medicine is a program in which u take premed classes for 1 term and if u maintain a certain academic standard you will be enrolled in the MD program. AEP is for people already accepted into the MD program but has weak points in their application. AEP is a way for the school to help monitor/smoothen your transition into medical school.
