This is interesting. I have heard that (an correct me if I am wrong), that the Jan class is less competitive in terms of quantity AND Quality. This is reasoning I was given. Because there is more people applying for the Aug class, they have a larger portion of applicants with higher stats and credentials to choose from then the Jan class. Also some people who get rejected from the Aug class end up getting acceptance to the Jan class. I am under the impression that there are Individuals with better stats in Jan class vs. Aug and vice versa but on a whole, as a collective, the Aug class has, on average, higher acceptance stats then the Jan class. Anybody have some insights, not that it really matters much.
