I have heard that some people no matter how much they diet and exercise, do not lose weight, and some even gain it. I believe stress plays a role in weight gain, as well as age. The age factor is due to decreased muscle mass, so engaging in strength training could help one control or lose weight.
Recently, I tried yoga, went to a class taught by a teacher from India, and I have to say real Indian yoga is intense. The instructor who is nearly 60, is built like a man half his age.
