There was another story in Florida that was on CNN headline news yesterday.... of a 19-year old woman with a 4 year old son who was only 10 pounds, as the mother didn't feed him. I went back to CNN but didn't find the story on there today... but after looking it up on the internet, I found this article had the most information on the case:

It just goes to show that our government needs to go the extra mile to protect against child endangerment. In this story, clinicians failed the child as well. It's really sad how badly children get taken advantage of by adults sometimes.
