There seems to be a bit of confusion/ lack of information upon the requirements for entering PUCMM medical school. I happen to be in a position to answer it, as I live 5 minutes away from it. This guide/ fact sheet of mine is all my knowledge. I will make it as accurate as possible but keep in mind there's no subsitute for going yourself and physically holding copies of requirements and other such things. Also, I will translate the requirements sheet word for word, if you don't have enough grasp of Spanish or Spanglish to understand it I would advise you to start learning, pronto. Since the sheets are rather lengthy I will translate whats important (to me at least).

Concepcion metodologica de la carrera:
La escuela de Medicina se plantea algunas concepcions fundamentales que orientan el proceso de ensenanza-aprendizaje y el desarrollo mismo de la carrera Estas son:

1. Concebir al individuo como un ser intergral, es deceir, como una unidad bio-psicosocial, economico y cultural.
2. Funamentar el proceso de ensenanza-aprendizaje con una solida formacion cientifica y academica.
3. Actuar priortariamente a nivel primario.
4. Fomentar la salud y prevencion de enfermedades
5. Aprendizaje basado en la integracion de la docencia, la investigacion y el servicio.
6. Aprendizaje con proyeccion comunitaria, con destrezas comunicativas y de selecion de conocimientos esenciales y analisis critico de la literatura bromedica.

Para alcanzar estos fines, la Escuela de Medicina emplea un sistema integrado y modular con exposicion precoz a la practica clinica, de acuerdo con las directrices de diferentes organismos y agencias internacionales.

The reason why the english classes are * starred is because they are optional if you pass the english exam. Some say its better not to pass the exam to get a higher GPA, though in the end when you talk to them they will mostly all say it was a huge mistake.
