This is to inform you that starting from the academic year 2008/2009 Poznan University of Medical Sciences increases the school fees for students.
Moreover, the payments will be given to you now in PLN (Polish currency). However, you will still pay your fees in USD. The exact amount to pay in USD will be given to you one month prior to the below payment deadlines after they are converted from PLN into USD (according to the binding exchange rate). This financial information will be sent to you by official letter and by e-mail from the bursary office.
Your tuition fee for the academic year 2008/2009 is: 41 340 PLN
1st installment (half of the fee) is payable by September 30, 2008.
2nd installment (the other half of the fee) is payable by February 15, 2009.
If you are staying in the dorm the fees for 2008/2009 academic year are as follows (depending on the dormitory and type of the room):
Medyk, Aspirynka – single room: 7 800 PLN
Medyk, Aspirynka – double room: 3 900 PLN
Eskulap, Wawrzynek – single room: 6 300 PLN
Eskulap, Wawrzynek – double room: 3 150 PLN
The dormitory fee is payable in one installment (whole amount) by September 30, 2008.
Students who do not pay on time will be removed from the list of students and will not be allowed to attend classes.
MOREOVER, ANY DELAY IN PAYMENTS CARRIES STATUTORY PENAL INTEREST CALCULATED DAILY FROM THE DATE DUE.
Attention! DO NOT PAY YOUR FEES IN PLN, YOU HAVE TO WAIT FOR YOUR FINANCIAL INFORMATION WITH PAYMENTS IN USD TO PAY YOUR FEES.
You are also obliged to come to the Dean's Office by June 30, 2008 to sign a statement that you became acquainted with the University new financial policy. Be aware that if you fail to do so, you will be crossed out of the students list.
