Once you register with them as a FM Student, they can ok you for the USMLE step 1

Once you have your titulo, controlled by mexico, and your step 2 completed they can enter you in the match. If, and only if, fifth pathway is truly abolished, this will be our route. But if NYMC keeps its doors open we can do what was 5th pathway year as our intern year.

ECFMG authorization sounds pretty quick. Some of the slow downs come from the school themselves having restrictions in their IMED form.

As far as other bright points, UAG will allow us to go to the US in 7th and 8th now. They may loosen that up if we come back for public service.
