I have no desire to highjack your forum, and my only agenda is to warn prospective students and staff from going to JBGDL because of my great passion for my profession.

I therefore crave your indulgence sir by asking you to permit me to post this email I recieved today from a prospective student to JBGDL and my response to him. I hope that you wont find me in breach.

Dear Dr LSW,
You seem to know a lot about this JBGDL school can you help me?

I got the email address of one of the class members and cheerleaders of
JBGDL from one of his former classmates at IMSA, the one whose wife is the
new registrar at JBGDL.
And I wrote him to ask him how I could find out how to contact the school
because my friends and myself wanna attend JBGDL. A ask him also to tell me
if all the stuff on the two treads on valueMd are true? So he sent me the
website School of Medicine - "Jos Bernardo Gutirrez de Lara, A.C." and tell me to apply. I decided to write him back and
thank him and to ask him to comment on the questions I asked about the
bad publicity on ValueMd forum, cause it seems to me from reading between the lines that it is obvious that at least three insiders and at least one prospective student had derided and denigrated his school. I also ask him to tell me how many
students were currently enrolled, how many students were on staff, where
would clinicals be done and if they were any new students for January and
how many. I thought I was very polite. But I found his response to be very
rude and evasive since I was only asking for help and since he is a student
at this school. His answer which I will copy below has not helped me at all,
so I am asking you to help me answer these questions. Fell free to post this
letter on VMD, because I don’t suffer f…..s gladly. This is what he write back to me.

The negativity on ValueMD.com is extremely unprofessional and unethical if
it is coming from "insiders" and one student who never visited our campus.
Since I am on winter break and in process of preparing for the next
semester, I will defer you to Dr. L S, our founder, and have him answer your
questions to the legitimacy of the claims on ValueMD. You can also call the
registrar and set up an on campus tour. Her number is 210-XXX-XXXX. Looking forward to meeting with you in person and answering your academic questions then.

If I were you I would forget that you heard of JBGDL. Whereas I cannot tell you if the former employees of the thing that has resurrected itself again
as JBGDL were extremely unprofessional and unethical, I can absolutely
declare that what was said by the ex-employees was factual, and truthful and cannot be denied or refuted. L S will not give you any answers either except the propaganda on their website.

Having gone to an excellent schoiol myself, and having visited and taught at other schools, and having seen the Caribbean offshore medical school develop from its infancy, I can absolutely declare also that JBGDL offers you an opportunity at a poor attempt of a school that keeps failing and reinventing itself every year, and reiterate that you would be better of at one of the established Caribbean schools.

These schools have a record and experience in producing students that pass the step exams and obtain residencies for over 30 years now. Even the very worst of the Caribbean schools are better than JBGDL.

There are new schools starting in the Caribbean in May at UHMS in St Kitts and Burnett International University also in St Kitts.

JBGDL insults you when it suggests on its website that attending medical
school in Cambridge or in northern Mexico are the same. For one JBGDL
continues to offer a four year program in three years teaching four half
days a week because it lacks the understanding that the material must be presented, especially to students that are less than stellar.

I am sorry that I can not please my good friends at JBGDL by stating otherwise, but I have never lied on this forum or its prdecessor for six years, and I will not start now.
