I hope you're not calling Amerijet in Grenada. Not only are they incompetent but they will outright lie to you about the drop-off time so they don't have to deal with your dog. Happened to me last week - #^&(%@#&%*'s! I had to get my dog on a Liat flight through Antigua and buy a new American ticket from San Juan just to get him back for the holidays. Cost: about $650 USD. Feeling a lot of anger towards the GND guys right about now.
But I digress - call the office in Miami at - I believe it's 1-800-Amerijet - but check listings if that doesn't work. Ask what day they are flying to and from GND - and get your dog to the warehouse (past the airport, past Aquarium) before 8am just to be safe, regardless of what they tell you. You will need to make an appointment with the GND end, but just ignore whatever dropoff time they tell you and get there much earlier.
I was going to tip them, myself, but after their behavior I'd say save your tips for the Miami crew. They are polite and hardworking, and earn them.
Good luck with your dog!
