VMD is their only avenue for zero cost recruitment/marketing, as they know a good majority of people seeking medical educations eventually wind up here during their research. What is troubling, is that if they can just get a few naive students each semester, they can more than survive, and keep going indefinitely - hurting a lot of people in the process.
