You are not a medical student, or a doctor or a lecturer, but you pontificate on all matters as if you are on the Oreilly factor. Are you the PreMed Forum Moderator because you have 3500 posts, or because you know about Caribbean schools?

Congoman has as much right to deem the CMU problem as serious as Watergate, as you to think that it does not. Perhaps, for him and I, Watergate means absolutely nothing except a word that is synonomous with scandal. But the CMU activity is more meaningful to us because it is impacting on the lives of young folk whose lives we have been involved in shaping. Don’t mind that none of them have not posted 3500 times on valueMD.

Who are you to say that everyone is too serious about all this? All that have posted against CMU have a right to be serious, because RL has come to Curacao *****. He is finding out that “Phantom is rough with roughnecks.” Don’t know if you had Phantom comic days.

Actually this is how it ought to be, but the truth is all that you Americans who cant get into a school between Alaska and the Florida Keys (aka as the world) accept anything that’s is offered at even the lower tier schools that you speak of. You guys who are desperate to be come doctors say that you just want the chance to take the USMLE!


Have you ever been to St Martinus? NO. So who are you to comment on quality education there. I cannot tell you why St Martinus does not have a million students, but I can tell you of the standard of education presented there. I have their archives. I have been there alongside men who have been to some of the best medical schools, and then practiced at least 20 years.

Unlike you, I am an island scholar, a doctor who graduated from a reputable medical school and one who has both practiced medicine and taught medical students. There are several reasons why schools don’t have state accreditations (like NY). You do not know as much as you think.

If you were as objective and factual and really omniscient as you pretend to be, you will note that there was no infighting with ST Marts and SJMS in 5 years. In the last 3 years there has been peace among “the lower tier island medical schools” in the ABC islands. In that time St Martinus started slowly steadily and solidly, and does produce a quality product.

In December the first two students will graduate. Reports are that they have been found so good that they have been offered residencies. I am not surprised. They were prepared for clinicals by me under rigid UWI standards during their basic science training. YOU SEE I PREPARED THEM IN THIER FINAL SEMESTER TO BE DOCTORS, not just to past the USMLE. The others in clinicals will do even better because they went through a longer period of exposure

15 students have now passed USMLE 1 with an average of 83, with only two failures. 13 students are doing rotations, 10 in the US 3 in Holland.

The point that I am making is that St Martinus was quietly going on, slowly steadily modestly.

Anyone without betzpaenia can figure that trouble in the ABC islands has only broken loose since the advent of RL and CMU.

It is not StMarts fault that RL and Dr Who has fallen out. It was not St Marts, but CMU who came in the valueMD forum casting aspersions on both SJMS and ST Marts.


SJMS gets students every semester, and it is up and running. It does not need to fight anyone. St Marts is struggling, but it is not fighting anyone. SJMS and St Marts didn’t copy anyones website or falsify information thereon. It was not the SJMS and St Marts admins that pointed out CMU’s faults, it was the keen folk on valuemd that were able to discern error and right from wrong. As doctors in training they were able to spot a red herring during history taking.

There is a way Doctors that go to schools that dont just stress USMLE are trained to behave. This behavior is not mirrored by RL.

CMU and SMU can coexist on Curacao without RL's behavior.
