the conclusion is not foregone

To repeatedly bring up a particular topic with no chance of affecting the outcome is beating a dead horse. I was taught that beating a dead horse means people bringing up evidences to prove a result that is already proven by others many times before. It is been proven beyond a reasonable doubt that a cmu smells like rotten eggs, but people seem to keep bringing up evidences trying to prove what is already a forgone conclusion.

There is some truth in what you are saying. But the conclusion is not foregone. The death of the forum is not the objective when I post like this kind sir! Unlike you I have seen many students who have lost money and time at such bogus institutions. Just this week I got a note from a lecturer who left a job of seven years to go teach at one of these bogus schools where the pay was much better. The school was closed within eight months. He cant get back his old job, and he has a young family.

If you don’t like to see dead horses beaten forget it. YOU DON’T HAVE TO PLAY AT EVERY BALL.
