Why do we intensely dislike the Yankees? They are spoiled. Their owner is an ***. Their players think they are hot stuff. They whine and cry no matter how much they are paid. The fans are repulsive. The list can go on forever.
I used to think it was just the string of losses after 1918 that made the Sox so mad, but it's the Yankees bad sportsmanship and behavior that would make anyone a little pissed.

that rivalry is always good to watch. always some bad blood. my friend is from boston and he loves the red soxs. he always said to me it isn't enough just to be a red soxs fan... you also must hate the yankees as well.
