I just received notice that I have been dismissed from one of the Big Three schools. I passed all my basic sciences classes but could not pass the school's comprehensive (shelf) exam. I applied for re-admission as the letter directed but was denied. Has this ever happened to anyone else, and does that mean that I am dead in the water for medical school?
