Hi ijcMD and student 2. Thank you for the replies. I'm indonesian. I got my ** from University of Washington. I really want to apply to US schools but so far it does not look good for non green card holders like me. I have to apply to private schools like Harvard, John Hopkins, Yale, Stanford etc (less than 10 schools in the whole US) that treat international students equally. I have not taken the MCAT yet and will do so early next year.
I was told to be realisitic in applying because of my non-citizenship. I have heard of Caribbean schools. Can you tell me which one is better? I know the caribbean's curriculum is tailored to the US and spent 1 year residency in the US which can be an advantage to the Israel schools.
Question for student 2:
1. Are you a student in one of the Israel medical schools right now?
I think you are right, from the website it seems both Technion and Sackler are only open to US and Canadian citizens. That only leaves me one option to apply to BGU. sigh...this is hard than it already is. I'll still wait for their reponses. Thanks pp! Feel free to respond.
