All medical schools have a very comprehensive curriculum but Technion is known to have one of the most challenging curriculums in the world. I think people who go to Sackler just want themselves to believe there program is "better". No medical school is really better than the next, but when it comes to residency placement, a school's name plays a role. Technion is known as "One of the best medical schools in the world."
Interesting... So that's why several people who were rejected from Sackler now attend Technion. And in regards to MCAT scores, I know of at least one student who was accepted to Technion without an MCAT score. Also, I knew of Technion students trying to transfer to Sackler but were not able to this past year.

By the way, I love your "quotes"...

I don't claim that one school is better than the other. Both teach you medicine. But Sackler has established name recognition when it comes to residency placement. Technion is known for its brilliant academic teachers. Which one do you want when you apply for residencies?

Sackler is very well-known in the New York area and LA. Most med schools in the US have hard times placing their students into those competitive markets. In regards to other areas last year, here's a few of the states/hospitals people placed: South Florida, Emory, Virginia, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Tulane, Johns Hopkins, Chicago, etc..
