I think that there are only two options in terms of comprehensive USMLE review that can be purchased without taking a course: the Princeton Review book and the Kaplan Home Study series. The first is around 25 bucks on amazon.com and the second is ~500 dollars on the Kaplan site. That's probably why they went with Princeton Review. Between 2002 and 2007, there probably is a huge gap in pharmacology, microbiology and even path to some extent. I hope that most students are using more recent material to review on their own.

With regard to the Qbank, I really don't think that Exammasters is a good resource. The questions are horribly written and have neither diagnostic nor predictive value with regard to Step 1. Even Pretest is better. But that's just my opinion. They're ok for exams in Antigua, though.
