You apply for the loans TWICE. Once for the first 2 semesters and the 2nd time is for the 3rd semester ONLY. The following year you do the same thing. As for the lender, I know of people who had problems getting their disbursment check on time with Wachovia and with Sallie Mae, as long as you apply on time it is there on time. I went with Sallie Mae and haven't had any problems. I also applied late my first time and the check was only 2 weeks late getting here. Can someone share their experience with Wachovia?
