I havent taken the exam yet, but as Dr. Goljan says, "they dont ask what it is, but how it works.......concepts, concepts, concepts". Maybe thats why the guy decided to write one of the most amazing review books in existence. Anyway, I think UW does a great job of addressing that style of question.

my USMLE was very much recall centered, not application. But still, Kaplan was not really of any help either. The way they phrased their questions, the format, their emphasis, etc, were off. Stick with Uworld and read more than Kaplan and FA.
