Thats how things are here in Israel. Im at Sackler, and you just have to get used to the way things run here. I remember getting email replys from the NY office that were all in lower case, no punctuation, and no signature.
I brought it up when a NY office representative came to talk to our class, but I guess they discarded that piece of advice.
In their defense, there are probably only a handful of people working the NY Office, which is going through a lot of applications.
