Housing to avoid for St Mary's rotation in CT

We wanted to warn others of a housing listed on Whitewood Drive for the St. Mary's rotation. The landord is friendly and makes a lot of promises until you pay your rent for the month - then things change. For example, despite what she previously says she insists on keeping the thermostat at 60 degrees in the winter to save money. She also likes to play her television loud (to the point of hurting ones ears) in the evening and at night which is a problem since the student bedrooms are right outside the living room with the TV. These are just two of a number of issues. Her stance is it is her house and if you don't like it you can leave. Other students have had good experiences with ******* and *******. No place is perfect but the surgery rotation is difficult enough without landord issues. If you have had really bad experiences with particular landlords please share them.
