What you need from a medical school is good instruction and a chance to sit for the USMLE. Almost any caribbean school will give you that.

it is a bit more complicated than that. some states have lists of approved schools, other states use those lists, some have rotation requirements either in time or type (acgme vs FP umbrella), one state counts time in rotations differently so you may end up having to do more rotations after you graduate, there are pass attempt limits on the usmle, some will license you after board certification others will never license you depedning on school.. basically there are 50 different state requirements most of the time they overlap and if you are ok in one then you are ok in 30 others but you can't mislead people by saying as long as you have the usmle and an ecfmg cert you will be licensed.... tell that to my undergrad biology TA, MD usmle, ecfmg cert in hand on his third year trying for a training permit, not even a permanent license.
you have to research and be very careful about the school you chose
