And St. Theresa's IS listed in IMED, which makes grads eligible to apply for the USMLE through ECFMG.
However, do note that St. Kitt's & Nevis has no less than five IMED-listed schools. Pretty impressive for a nation of less than 39,000 souls.
Personally, I do not fully understand why people would want to trust their future to a school which cannot point to a single graduated student, and basically has no track record whatsoever (apart from the highly dubious records of several senior officials, apparently). But to each their own.
Do note, however, that legislation is considered in Congress which would significantly reduce the number of US Residencies (which are essentially federally funded). If that would happen, it would invariably SEVERELY hit anybody graduating from a foreign medical school, including ALL the Carib schools, and the less well established would, all other things being equal, be hardest hit.

the health care systems in major cities rely on residents as cheap labor for the uninsured and poor...i can't imagine a place like DMC in detroit running with less residents...that would mean attendings would have to work more or they would hire more PA's and NP's all of which are significantly higher than a resident.
this ridiculous rumor was around in 2003 when i started and some of our vmd elders pointed that it had been around alot longer than that... what can actually happen is the continued expansion of US schools..which is not in fantasy land and is actually happening, that couold affect several hundred residency positions in the next decade but even then it will not cut out the thousands of openings....
to keep on semi topic...yes stay away from st theresa or any unproven school until they can give you something to hold on to other than propose campuses and groundbreaking ceremonies. if going to this school type is your only choice consider gong back to school and bringing your gpa up its not like the semi reputable schools have 'strict' standards. they letme in after all. all else fails go knowing there is risk you may end up teaching biology like my undergrad TA who graduated from one of these smaller schools, that one went our of business i think.... buyer beware
