my Pierogi of choice is of coure Ruskie (cheese and potato) but when you buy them at a store they are a cheap immitation of the real thing. The real thing should have cheese, potatos, onion, salt, pepper on the inside. The way to eat them is to boil them, than let them cool down and brown them on a pan (so not good for your heart) but hey tasty cannot always be healthy. I also sometimes like the ones with sourkraut and mushrooms. I do not know who invented the ones with meat, not a good idea for me personally.
