Does anyone bring sposes to Poland?

I am from the US exploring medical schools outside my country. I initially looked into the Caribbean but my wife hates the idea of being apart for 20 months or so. She could go with me but then there would be very little for her to do on the island. Including employment/volunteer work. This would be a bad combination. Her, very little to do, and me, a lot of studying. So I turned to Europe, and it all looks very good! Especially the price! (we already have 67,000 USD in undergrad and grad student loans) She likes the idea of doing TEFL work (teaching english as a foreign language) plus many more volunteer opportunities. Thus far it all sounds very good, I am just curious if anyone else has brought a spouse to an EU school and what they have done. Thank you.

PS If anyone has any questions regarding residency issues such as the match process, or more or less stuff like "how do I get into this residency" "what would make me competitive" blah blah blah. Feel free to PM me. I work at a large teaching hospital and I have years of experience doing various administrative duties during the match process and I have seen MANY FMGs secure positions in competitive residencies by playing their cards properly.
