I'm not sure what the exact numbers are for admission requirements. I don't think that a low GPA will automatically exclude you. Furthermore, I know that some students have been admitted without taking the MCAT. I think that what matters in these cases are extracurricular experience (like yourself), proven ability to succeed, good rec letters, and a good interview. I think that your background would help you significantly. I studied with several others with a similar background as yours and they have all gone on to obtain residencies in the US.
In my opinion, the difficult part is not getting accepted, rather, it is overcoming the obstacles on the road to success. If I can help in any further way, please let me know.
