A quick google search yields a lot of useless info, but...there is someone doing FP in Stonybrook, LI (NY). Here it goes:

Well, you live and learn. I was under impression that no residency form unapproved NY school could be obtained. But I guess it has to do with no more than 12 weeks o rotations in NY.
