Here are my first impressions...
I was SO nervous when they were interview me. My GPA was 2.5 but i got a 37 on my MCAT...I was pretty nervous that I might not get in because of my GPA.
They called me to scheduole my interview and I was literally shaking I was so nervous...here is how the interview went
Him: "What attracted you to our school"
Me: "I really like the program you established, and I like how your pogram is set up, and it would be a honor for me to come to the school"
Him: "Your GPA is a little low"
Me: "I know but I think my MCAT is fairly good"
Him: "How will you be paying for your education"
Me" "My parents will fully support me"
Him: "Congradulations on being accepted!"
Man I was so happy. This was the first school I applied to and I got in! I was so so so so so excited!
Anyways I got to the island a couple days ago and its well differnt
I am guessing all offshore med school seem this crappy and shady, right???
Anyways ill be seeing you all in clinicals in a couple years!

How long will i be on the island...
I was going to transfer into second semester starting in august...
I was looking online at the acedmic calander and it seemed outdated
2nd semester August-Dec
break for how long?
3rd -6th semesters?
I know semesters are differnt lenghts...but i couldnt find out when the breaks were, and how long they were...thanks...

First off I would like to apologize to all users for having to recap several posts that have been made by the above named person in order to answer properly. Our Admissions Department Has never and will never ask a student about their abilility to pay. Students are either accepted or declined based on previous academic performance and their overall goals and States in which they might want to practice as an Licensed Professional only. The Finance Office, which is headed my myself receives information on the students that have been accepted several days after the interview has been conducted....so sorry to punch holes in your little story there
mynameisearl but you might have us confused with another school...or of course the the possibility that you are from another school trying to ruin the reputation of any other school that you deem potentially a threat.
Additionally, you can be found on several other schools forums stating that you are currently a student there, while in your first post on this thread states that you were accepted by us and that we were the first school you applied to. So I ask you if you are a student here, what kind of animal lives on the campus?....
You also mention that you have only enquired about SGU, yet the above post is from St Matthews forum...Fess up and stop the nonsense.....Allow the forum to be utilized for factual information....even though it might be negative...no school is perfect but blatant lies serve no purpose to anyone.
