In Jan. of this year I had a TL, from day one I have had pain in my left ovary with an occasional stabbing or pinching sensation. Fever on and off, spotting almost everyday, I have not had a normal menstral cycle. Vomiting, lightheaded and near passing out. The pain radiates into my left upper thigh. While standing there is a buldge in my left lower abdomenal area, when I lay flat I am level on each side. Also while standing, I have the appearance of a women who is 3-4 months pregnant. Never before the TL have I experienced these symptoms. I am 36 yo and have suffered from IBS since I was 17 yo, and I can tell you my symptoms are not that of IBS. My primary care physician has agreed that is not what I am suffering from. In 5 days it will be 3 months and I am not improving. There are days I feel better than others, but the pain lingers on day after day. There have been several trips to the er where blood and urine is drawn and come back fine, so they send me home. Because of the high med malpractice in the area I live, no one wants to see me. Fortunatly my pcp was able to get me an appt with an obgyn in another state. It will be a 2 hour drive for me, but far away from lawsuit worried doctors. In the meantime, is there anything that you can say which could ease my worried mind? The only thing that has eliminated the pain was a shot of demoral during one of my er visits. That was on top of the vicoden I had already taken which didnt help alleviate the pain. If anyone has had the same symptoms could you email me? I happened upon this site while searching for answers and afraid I may not be able to make my way back. My email addy is
