Well, there is both DSL and cable available. It depends on were you live. The Dormitory has ethernet with a good connection speed. If you live of campus then you usually can choose between a DSL connection or a cable connection. You also choose the type of connection you want. In my apartment I have a cable connection which is 1 Mbps/128 kbps transfer rate. More info about transfer speeds can be found on the sites of the providers.
