This all sounds like a bunch of hogwash to me. We don't know what went on with MUA Nevis or even what is in its charter. I don't think any school has a charter which says that it can open some other school. It's illogical. More likely is the theory which someone put forth here a couple of months ago that the guy who made Saba started MUA-Nevis after a couple of years. And then he started MUA-Belize but sold it very quickly to someone else.

I am not going to get into an agrument or "who said what" or "who did what" or "what was in this or that"... that is not my intention. I will say this, as a former editor and staff reporter of the "Vector" (MUA Belize school newspaper), and student of MUA-Belize, this school was part of the MUA "clan." I also interviewed Dr. RS and was told the history of the school.

Anyway, I'm not sure what 'US comparable certification' you are referring to because Saba and MUA-Nevis students have never been eligible for Student Loans thru the US government (I'm talking about Federal Stafford loans here). The NCFMEA stopped certifying new schools for Stafford loan eligibility in the Caribbean sometime before Saba even got started.

SABA is the only school that has "US comparablity" Belize and Nevis does NOT. The NCFMEA still continues to review schools for eligibility... BUT is the school that has to submit the appropriate materials. SABA is eligible for the FFEL program. I am not a SABA student nor do I have the interest in finding out their financial aid programs. But if you look at the NCFMEA website, they have the schools that have rec'd the comparable status. For a complete list, a person has to call and request it.
This is ALL I have to say on the subject. There were questions and comments made re: the campuses and US Comparable, and I answered to the best of my knowledge from the facts that I rec'd from several sources. Please do your research before calling something "hogwash."
