Just some of my few thoughts. Why do you want to go back to medical school after your MD in Egypt. Instead of going through 4 years again in medical school (i.e. if you can get the admission), why not use the 4 years trying for a residency. It is not only Carms that you can get a residency. Most provinces have sepearte programs outside of Carms for IMG's for residency. In N.S you might want to look at the CAPP route. Newfoundland also have a good program. You will be far better of than re-applying to medical schools. I am yet to hear of an IMG who has been able to get back to med school in Canada (anybody know an IMG who has done that). Even to transfer from a foreign medical school to a Canadian Med School is about next to impossible. I know of one person in Ontario who had tried Queens and Univ of Ottawa but without any success. Anyway it doesn't hurt to try but it is better to spread your wings than looking only at going back to med school as the solution. Somebody has mention the US and it is still worthconsidering that as much as your wife may hate it. It might be a better solution for a few years of residency over there and you can always come back to Canada after that. Just my two cents.
