According to a website which advises on russian medical universities, the following is stated:-

St. Petersburg I. P. Pavlov State Medical University was established in 1887. Thousands of well-reputed physicians have graduated from this university and have become pioneer in the world of medicine. The university holds the Vth position in the world according to the WHO and UNESCO ranking of all the medical college in the world.

Can anyone verify this? eaven if this was way back, was Pavlov ranked vth???
