Gentleman, gentleman! Can't we all just get along!

I appreciate all the responses. Honestly, I tend to believe you get what you put into it. I am leaning toward the school for a couple of reasons. First is I live in Dallas Texas and my family, wife, kids, etc. live there. The Juarez component is attractive since I could live in El Paso and fly home often. Second is that I have a friend I grew up with who graduated from here 5 years ago and is already in private practice in AR. His four best buds also secured residencies and are practicing.
I'm an older student, 39, returning to med school after 17 years. Because of my age, in the year it would take me to study for the MCAT again, I could do some self-review in Biochem, Microbiology, A&P and just start! Reading all this stuff is making me a bit nervous. I can probably get in anywhere, but St. George is too far and I have heard bad things about Ross. But, I guess we hear bad things about every school.
I am also looking at St. Matthews too. You spend a year in Caymans and then to Maine and rotations. What about the school in Antigua that has a twinning program with Manipal in India. Manipal is the fourth best school in India out of about 350.
I live in Texas so licensing may be difficult. I spoke to the Medical lic. board and currently, they do not have a "list" of schools that are not lic. eligible. I would love to practice in TX but I guess there are 49 other states. Any feedback for me people? Thanks.
