. As far as the question is it worth it: I think it really depends on what your goals are. If you don't plan on going into a really competitive program then it might not be worth it. In the end it saves you a lot of hassles getting your license, you don’t have to deal with the foreign stigma, and lets face it. Most medical students don’t know what they want to go into, so this is a great way to keep your options open.
