Is it possible to memorize all the contents of First Aid, even without understanding them, say in a year's time?

Has someone done it before?I am in premed and I feel guilty seeing a copy of FA lying on my table.I want to learn, but most of the concepts are er..Greekish(may have just coined a new adjective)!
