thinking of applying to the spanish program instead

Hey everyone,
I am in the process of sending off my application to UNIBE for entry next year. I was planning to apply to the english program. But I did some more research on the forum and found that UNIBE's spanish program is not as long as I originally thought (only 5 years, maybe less if i get credits from my physiology/psychology undergrad degree), and of course it is substantially cheaper.
I have decent knowledge of spanish (enough to navigate through the spanish part of the UNIBE website, and get the gist of what is being said).
I just have a few of questions:
1) does the spanish program accept students in 3 intakes (may, september, january) or do they just have one entry in september?

2) would it be wise to take a full semester of spanish courses at UNIBE and then enter the spanish medical program in the next semester, or can I do the spanish courses concurrently with the medical program?

3) is there are language requirement or exam that I have to pass to enter the program (like in english speaking schools...TOEFL..or ESL)

4) Is the tuition of RD$24,000 for the WHOLE year, or per semester?

5) Is it HARDER for a non-dominican student to be accepted into the spanish program than into the english program?

Thanks
Sierra
