You should double-check with NY. Apparently Med boards do not look favorably on people transferring medical schools -- especially Carribean medical schools. Additionally--even if transferring is okay, it may not be okay if some of your education was at a non-approved medical school--that might be enough to prevent you from getting your license in NY.

I'm no expert; I may not have it right -- but better to check first than to be sorry.
